First White Cloth Hall

A former cloth market, First White Cloth Hall is a grade two listed building built in 1711 it was the first of four to be built, and is the only building remaining. White Cloth Hall is the most historic building in Leeds, and is located on Kirkgate; the oldest street in Leeds. The redevelopment scheme is being funded by The National Lottery and Historic England and includes the west wing restoration, a new covered court yard with atrium and a new shop frontage. HH Smith & Sons Ltd are a family run company founded by Herbert Harold Smith shortly after the second world war in 1955. Whom have continued to provide high quality and innovative construction over the years.
